Account Officer

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Prepare and examine financial records and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Support audits and other financial reviews.

Requirements

  • B.Sc./HND in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage and Zoho)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
