Account Officer
Job Summary
- We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Officer with at least 2 years of relevant experience to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions (cash, bank, invoices, payments).
- Maintain accurate entries in the accounting system.
- Prepare monthly management reports.
- Prepare monthly budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliation.
- Prepare statutory schedules and handle remittances.
- Supervise monthly stock-taking and generate reports.
- Organize and file financial documents for easy retrieval.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
- Manage accounts payables and receivables.
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, Sage, QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
