Account Officer

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Officer with at least 2 years of relevant experience to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions (cash, bank, invoices, payments).
  • Maintain accurate entries in the accounting system.
  • Prepare monthly management reports.
  • Prepare monthly budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare statutory schedules and handle remittances.
  • Supervise monthly stock-taking and generate reports.
  • Organize and file financial documents for easy retrieval.
  • Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
  • Manage accounts payables and receivables.

Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc. in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, Sage, QuickBooks).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
