Account Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and process journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for all financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.
- Support the finance manager with budget preparation and analysis.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Officer, or in a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
