Account Officer

Job Summary

  • The Account Officer will manage financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and support the finance team in ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
  • This role is pivotal in monitoring revenue streams, controlling expenses, and supporting budgeting processes specific to the media and entertainment sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash operations.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely payments to vendors and staff.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with production, marketing, and operations teams to track project-related expenses.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and collection from clients, sponsors, and partners.
  • Assist in payroll processing and other financial tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND with 5-8 years experience.
