Account Manager

Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Book management and interpretation to drive business decisions.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Support in preparing financial statements and producing budget according to schedule
  • Provide input into the department’s goal-setting process
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Supervise the activities of the subordinates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in FMCG, distribution and Fin-Tech
  • Professional certification (ACA) or in-view is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks)
  • Extremely good on MS EXCEL.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
