Account Manager
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement financial strategies.
- Book management and interpretation to drive business decisions.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Support in preparing financial statements and producing budget according to schedule
- Provide input into the department’s goal-setting process
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Supervise the activities of the subordinates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in FMCG, distribution and Fin-Tech
- Professional certification (ACA) or in-view is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks)
- Extremely good on MS EXCEL.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
