Job Purpose
- To lead and manage the production team to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective manufacturing of products while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the production team to achieve operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.
Production Planning & Execution:
- Oversee daily production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Collaborate with planning, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Utilize lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies as appropriate.
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address non-conformities.
Health & Safety:
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Budget & Cost Control:
- Manage production budgets and control costs without compromising quality.
- Monitor KPIs and report on performance metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a production leadership role, preferably in the agrochemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of production management systems and methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational performance.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and decision-making.
- Proficiency in production software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Job Description
- He / she ensures proper accounting records/information are kept and treated appropriately at the business depots & company assets, stock, cash, etc are always secure.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a reliable & timely report comprising of IMS raw data, customers’ ledger, stock records, purchases, health check as well as other designated reports.
- Issue invoice, receipts etc for all transactions and proper recording and filing of all documents, including payment tellers
- Ensure company assets -stock, cash, vehicles, documents, etc are properly secured.
- Ensure there’s no cash loss.
- Maintain incident free record on company assets -Cash, Product, Motor vehicle, Computer, etc.
- Execute activities within approved budgets. • Post transactions and analyse account Records.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND in Accounting with 2 years of experience in a similar role

- Good numeric ability
- Computer literate
- Must be a resident in Lafia
- High integrity and must be able to work under pressure.
- Required age: 23 – 35 years.
