Head of Marketing
Job Summary
- The Head of Marketing will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of De Koolar’s national marketing, sales, and customer engagement efforts.
- This role will drive business growth through demand generation, strategic brand positioning, and performance marketing while leading a cross-functional team across physical and digital channels.
- The ideal candidate must be an experienced marketing leader with a proven track record in selling physical engineering/manufactured products, leading distributed teams, and using data to drive decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Business Growth:
- Design and execute a national marketing and sales strategy that drives revenue, brand visibility, and market expansion.
- Identify and pursue market opportunities in new sectors and geographies, including agriculture, logistics, healthcare, and FMCGs.
- Develop annual marketing plans and sales forecasts aligned with corporate goals and expansion targets.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to proactively adjust strategies.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and manage the Business Development Executives and Officers across all regional offices (North, South-West, South-East, etc.).
- Supervise and align efforts of the Digital Marketing and Customer Relationship teams to ensure integrated customer outreach.
- Build and maintain a high-performance marketing department through clear KPIs, regular coaching, and team development.
Brand & Digital Strategy:
- Oversee the company’s online presence across all platforms – website, SEO/SEM, social media, paid ads, and email marketing.
- Champion the storytelling and brand positioning strategy of De Koolar as a leading innovator in cold storage and engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and IT to ensure messaging consistency across digital and offline channels.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure the ERP/CRM system is effectively utilized to track leads, conversions, customer communications, and satisfaction.
- Guarantee the accuracy and daily reporting of customer data and insights across all channels and branches.
- Design programs for customer retention, referral programs, and after-sales engagement.
Sales Enablement:
- Serve as the Lead Corporate Sales Executive responsible for initiating and closing high-value B2B deals with corporate clients, distributors, government bodies, and institutions.
- Personally manage and grow strategic accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Work hands-on with the Business Development Executives, Officers, Digital Marketers, and Customer Relationship Officers — all of whom are involved in direct sales — to coordinate sales activities across physical and digital channels.
- Design and deliver training, pitch tools, sales scripts, and customer engagement strategies to equip all front-line sales staff for performance excellence.
- Provide senior-level oversight of major project quotations, contract negotiations, and deal finalization.
- Monitor and report weekly/monthly sales performance across branches and product lines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly and quarterly sales target achievement by region and product.
- Number and value of corporate B2B deals closed.
- Growth in qualified leads generated (offline and digital).
- Customer satisfaction and retention scores.
- Accuracy and timeliness of CRM data reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Engineering/Technical background is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 5–8 yearsof progressive experience in marketing, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or B2B sectors.
- Proven experience leading a national marketing or sales team with measurable results.
- Strong grasp of traditional and digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, ERP Dashboard, Google Ads, SEO & Display).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- High integrity, result-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and a drive to break barriers.
