We’re seeking a highly skilled Captain with a proven track record of leadership in offshore operations, specifically on Line Handling/Mooring Boats.
Technical Requirements:
- Verifiable experience in advanced manoeuvring operations, particularly for crude off-take support, on Line Handling/Mooring Boats.
- In-depth knowledge of precise vessel manoeuvring and station-keeping during line handling, hose connection, and mooring operations in close proximity to tankers and SPM buoys.
- Proficiency in navigation systems, radar, ECDIS, and communication protocols essential for close-quarters operations.
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations, ISM Code, and ISPS Code as they apply to small, highly manoeuvrable offshore support vessels.
- Experience with vessel management systems and operational procedures tailored for line handling and crude oil transfer support.
Requirements
- Verifiable, hands-on experience supporting line handling work for SPM crude off-take operations, specifically from a Line Handling/Mooring Boat.
- Valid STCW certifications and all relevant local and international maritime certifications.
- Excellent understanding of offshore safety standards and operational best practices for highly manoeuvrable vessels.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, crucial for coordinated operations.

Method of Application
- We’re looking for an agile and safety-conscious Deck Hand with hands-on experience in offshore support, specifically on Line Handling/Mooring Boats.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in specialized line handling techniques, heaving line operations, rope work, and rigging operations unique to SPM and crude off-take activities from a Line Handling/Mooring Boat.
- Experience with mooring equipment, specialized winches, capstans, cranes, and other deck machinerycommonly found on Line Handling/Mooring Boats.
- Familiarity with offshore safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), confined space entry, working at height, and safe transfer procedures between vessels/buoys.
- Ability to conduct routine maintenance tasks on deck equipment specific to Line Handling/Mooring Boats and perform general vessel upkeep.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures, including firefighting, first aid, and man overboard recovery in close-quarters operations.
