Job Overview

• We are seeking a skilled dieselgenerator mechanic to join our team. Thediesel Generator Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting ofgenerator sets to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.
• The ideal candidatse will have a strong background in dieselengine mechanics and a proven track record of working with diesel/gas generators.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel generators to identify the root cause of problems.
• Repair or replace faulty components in diesel generators, such as fuel systems, electrical systems, and cooling systems.
• Conduct load bank testing on diesel generators to ensure they can handle the required electrical load.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on diesel generators.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working on diesel generators to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in diesel generator technology.

Requirements

• B.Sc, HND,SSCE, Trade test
• 5 Years proven experience as a Diesel Generator Mechanic in a well established organisation
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine mechanics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy components and work in challenging environments.
• Certification in diesel engine mechanics is a plus.
