Key Responsibilities

• Write original, accurate, and SEO-friendly news articles across various categories
• Monitor press releases, government updates, and credible sources for news leads
• Report breaking stories promptly and factually
• Work with editors to meet content deadlines and editorial expectations
• Upload and format articles using WordPress CMS
• Adhere to the News About Nigeria editorial style and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Degree or experience in journalism, mass communication, English, or related field (preferred)
• Excellent writing and research skills
• Strong command of written English
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital publishing tools
• Ability to write under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience using WordPress or other CMS platforms is an advantage
• Interest in Nigerian current affairs and news cycles.
