Job Summary
- The ICU Matron will oversee the operations of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care, adherence to safety protocols, and efficient coordination of nursing staff.
- This leadership role requires advanced critical care expertise and excellent managerial skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all ICU nursing activities and personnel.
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and patient safety procedures.
- Provide hands-on clinical support in complex and critical patient cases.
- Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate ICU nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor equipment, supplies, and ICU environment for readiness and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICU/critical care nursing.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or matron-level role is strongly preferred.
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practising license.
- Additional certification in Critical Care or Intensive Care Nursing is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound clinical decisions.

Requirements

- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
