Job Purpose
- To lead and drive sales operations for the bicycle product segment by managing channel networks, developing strategic partnerships, achieving revenue targets, and building a high-performing sales team to expand market share across key regions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Design and implement effective sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop territory-wise sales plans and ensure timely execution by the team.
- Track sales performance against targets and drive necessary interventions.
Team Leadership:
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of sales executives and officers.
- Set clear KPIs for the team and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Identify training and development needs to build team capabilities.
Channel Development & Management:
- Build and expand the dealer/distributor network across urban and rural markets.
- Negotiate channel margins, trade schemes, and incentives to drive partner engagement.
- Resolve distributor/dealer issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Key Account & Institutional Sales:
- Identify and develop large-volume B2B and institutional opportunities (e.g., delivery companies, government programs, NGOs).
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business.
Market Intelligence & Expansion:
- Analyze market trends, competitor moves, pricing strategies, and consumer behavior.
- Recommend new market entries, product positioning, and pricing policies.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and performance reports.
- Report monthly to senior management on progress, challenges, and action plans.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of revenue and volume targets.
- Growth in channel base and geographic reach.
- Team productivity and retention.
- Dealer satisfaction and loyalty index.
- Market share improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience: 5–8 years in sales leadership roles, preferably in bicycles, two-wheelers, consumer durables, or FMCG.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven ability to scale sales and manage multi-location teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic financial concepts.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel across multiple regions.
- Passion for bicycles, mobility, or fitness products is a plus.

Job Summary
- To drive the sales of bicycles through an effective network of channel partners (dealers, distributors, retailers) by building strong relationships, managing sales targets, and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and distributors.
- Identify, appoint, and onboard new dealers and retail partners in assigned territories.
- Ensure channel partners are properly trained on product offerings, sales techniques, and brand positioning.
Sales & Target Achievement:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive secondary sales (sales to end customers) through channel partners.
- Monitor and support dealer sell-out initiatives.
Market Development:

- Address and resolve dealer and end-customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure after-sales service support through the proper channel.

Key Requirements
- Education: Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields. MBA preferred.
- Experience: 5 – 10 years of experience in channel sales, preferably in bicycles, two-wheelers, sports goods, or related industries.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Energetic, self-motivated, and target-oriented.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
