Regional Sales Manager (2Wheeler)
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in the automotive industry to lead and drive sales performance within an assigned region.Â
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing dealer networks, and achieving regional sales targets for vehicles, parts, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales goals.
- Manage and grow relationships with dealerships, distributors, and key accounts within the assigned territory.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing regional sales team (if applicable).
- Conduct regular field visits to dealerships and customers to ensure strong business relationships.
- Analyze sales data and prepare detailed performance reports for senior management.
- Ensure proper implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities across the region.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and aftersales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment of strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely vehicle delivery and stock availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and branding guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, preferably or FMCG with at least 2 years in a regional or managerial role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of the vehicle market, dealership operations, and sales channel management.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
