Job Summary
- The Sales Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to provide actionable insights that drive sales performance, optimize sales strategies, and support business decisions.
- The role involves evaluating trends, forecasting demand, tracking KPIs, and preparing detailed reports for the sales and management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and report sales data from various sources such as CRM systems, ERP platforms, and distributor reports.
- Generate regular sales performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and sales teams.
- Track and monitor key sales metrics (e.g., volume, revenue, customer growth, territory performance, etc.).
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and revenue generation.
- Assist in sales forecasting and demand planning, working closely with supply chain and marketing teams.
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies based on analytical findings.
- Evaluate the success of promotional campaigns and pricing initiatives using historical data and ROI analysis.
- Segment customers and territories for more efficient targeting and resource allocation.
- Maintain sales database integrity and ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry.
- Collaborate with sales representatives, marketing, and finance teams to support cross-functional projects.
