ROLE OVERVIEW:

• The Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery and collection of official documents, materials, packages, and bulky items as required. The Driver will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made promptly and safely, contributing to the overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency of the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must observe all HSE driving related policies to ensure the consistent safety of documents and Vehicle.
• The Driver must know how to operate and drive a Manuel Vehicle.
• Responsible for updating the Drivers Logbook on a daily basis with the required information.
• Must ensure that assigned Vehicle documents/ particulars are updated and valid.
• Must ensure that the Vehicle is cleaned routinely or when the need arises.
• Responsible for carrying out the daily inspection on the general condition of assigned Vehicle and must properly lock the Vehicle when there is a need to leave them unattended to.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English Language.
• Must reside around Ajao Estate, Mafoluku, Ejigbo, Oshodi, Ilupeju, Anthony, Maryland, Gbagada, Isolo and Environs.
• Familiarity with relevant routes.
• Proven experience as a Driver especially with Manual Vehicle.
• Polite and able to get along with people.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure timely delivery of products and materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and stakeholders.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
• Be adaptable to changing delivery requirements and priorities.
• Handle and secure items properly during transit to prevent damage or loss.
