Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Teach English language and literature to students
- Develop and implement lesson plans and curricula
- Prepare students for formal and informal assessments
- Grade tests, quizzes, assignments, and exams
- Organize guest speakers, literary events, and field trips
- Keep abreast of current events and incorporate them into lessons
- Ensure all curriculum, school, and state requirements are met
- Assess student needs and provide support or extra resources
- Use technology to improve lesson delivery and recordkeeping.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in English (MSc is a plus)
- TRCN certification
- 3+ years previous experience as an English teacher.
- Solid grounding in classroom management and school procedures
- Solid knowledge of subject matter, including curriculum and assessments
- Proficient in technology and computer applications
- Up-to-date with latest teaching techniques and topics in English instruction
- Deep understanding of the national curriculum and English language requirements

Job Summary
- We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as the Head of School. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and guidance to the school staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the school staff
- Ensure all statutory records are maintained by teachers, including diaries, registers, and lesson notes
- Monitor and report on staff and pupil progress towards achieving the school’s goals
- Coordinate, supervise, and write reports on all tests and examinations
- Prepare and ensure adherence to the school’s academic timetable
- Monitor attendance and lesson adherence
- Prepare students for academic competitions
- Register students for external examinations
- Establish effective systems for student discipline, behavior management, and pastoral care
- Liaise with external bodies to promote the school’s image and programs
- Work closely with heads of department to develop successful academic programs
- Supervise co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
- Coordinate the activities of heads of department
- Perform other duties as assigned for the growth and development of the school
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Education:
- Minimum of 10 years teaching experience in a primary school setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of primary education curricula, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of current trends and challenges in primary education
- Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the learning process
