Job description: Job Description:Location: Lagos, NigeriaIndustry: Registrar ServicesWork Schedule: HybridReports To: Business Development ManagerAbout the Company: Our client is a leading securities register and data management provider in the Nigerian Capital Market.The Company is seeking to hire a result-oriented Business Development Officer to recommend marketing strategies to enhance strong relationships with prospective and existing clientsKey Responsibilities:§ Prepare reports and correspondence§ Research business opportunities§ Produces statistical models to help predict and follow industry trends§ Analyzes the techniques and successes of competitors§ Manage and retain existing relationships with clients§ Conducts organizational studies and work simplification studies to help streamline business processes§ Reviews clients’ reports to determine weak areas and make improvements§ Develops and implements records management for the filing and retrieval of records§ Helps create and maintain a marketing plan for a new or existing product§ Pitching of register and relationship management of prospective clients§ Write a business proposalRequirementsEducation§ First degree in Business Marketing or related fieldExperience§ 3-5 years’ experience in sales or marketing or related field with the following ability to: Increase Revenue, Build strategic partnerships, making strategic decisions, increasing profitability, and increasing growth in terms of business expansion, identifying sales, and pitching goods and services to new clientsLicense and certification§ ACMRSkills & Competencies§ Strong proficiency with the use of MS Office Suites, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.§ Understanding of Share Registration§ Excellent Business writing skills§ Excellent Business communication skills§ Excellent presentation skills§ Ability to manage complex projects§ Time management§ Good interpersonal skills§ Customer service§ Innovative and strategic thinking§ Innovative and strategic thinking§ Negotiating skills§ High level of multitaskingAttitudes§ Adherence to company culture§ Integrity and Confidentiality§ Commitment to work§ Must be result-oriented§ High Level of Confidentiality§ Punctuality§ Must be able to work under pressureGeneral Key Performance Indicators§ New Client Acquisition- at least 2 Bond register, 2 Equity register,2 mutual fund register§ Development of at least one new product a year§ Number of proposals sent- measures outreach activity and effort in pitching to potential clients.§ Conversion Rate- Percentage of proposals converted into actual business§ Timely dispatch of bills to clients on or before the 3rd of every month§ Provision of required responses to clients’ queries or reports within 24 hours§ Timely dispatch of reports to clients on or before the 7th of every month§ Client Retention Rate- percentage of clients retained over a period, showing relationship management effectivenessBenefitsCompensation: Base Pay ranges BTW N10,000,000 – N12,000,000 Annually plus Other interesting benefits
