Credit Risk Analyst

Job Summary

  • Access, monitor, and manage credit risk associated with customers, ensuring that the company’s credit exposure is within acceptable limits while supporting business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of customers using financial statements, credit scores, and payment history
  • Recommend and set appropriate credit limits for customers based on risk appetite and analysis
  • Continuously monitor existing credit exposure and flag accounts for early warning signs of default
  • Investigate overdue accounts and support collections by providing risk insights and risk mitigation recommendations
  • Generate regular credit risk reports, such as aging reports, etc, for management review
  • Maintain accurate credit records and explore automation tools for credit processes
  • Analyze industry trends and market risk that could affect customer creditworthiness.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA. CRM, ERM, PRM
  • Experience using an ERP such as SAP for credit tracking and reporting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Credit Risk Management within the manufacturing or financial services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 18+ years of experience in production management.
  • Knowledge of production standards and practices.
  • Ability to interpret complex documents, including blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing plans.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, financial management, and budgeting skills.
  • Proficient in the use of production management software.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
