Business Development Officer
Summary
- We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Business Development Officer to secure B2B contracts across sectors such as hospitality, retail, and corporate clients.
- The ideal candidate is commercially minded, persistent, and skilled in networking and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Proactively approach potential clients through visits, networking, referrals, and follow-ups.
- Develop persuasive proposals and presentations to secure partnerships and contracts.
- Track and report sales performance, pipeline, and market insights.
- Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends to inform strategy.
Client Relationship and Account Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and renewals.
- Follow up with clients consistently to drive upsells and long-term contracts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and support.
Performance & Sales Execution:
- Work with a results-driven mindset, with earnings tied to performance-based incentives.
- Execute sales strategies, including in-person business visits and persistent outreach, to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients.
Client & Partner Communication:
- Respond to client inquiries and provide necessary information or support.
- Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and ensure seamless communication.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BA/BSc in Business Management or related field (postgraduate/professional qualification is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years in Business Development, Marketing, or Sales.
- Experience in B2B client management and partnerships.
