About the Role
- Solar Africa is seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Sales & Business Development Executive to expand our market presence in Port Harcourt and Lagos. You will play a key role in driving sales growth, achieving targets, and delivering value to our clients.
- The ideal candidate has proven experience in sales or client management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales targets and maintain accurate reports
- Provide timely feedback to the Sales Manager on market performance
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporate clients, SMEs, and community networks
- Conduct market and community research to understand customer needs, energy trends, and competitor activity
- Develop and deliver professional sales pitches, presentations, and proposals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide market insights and support strategic business decisions
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc. in Arts, Social Sciences, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in sales, business development, or client management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Media or Digital Marketing certification is a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly
