Job Summary

• The visa officer is responsible for processing and reviewing visa applications, verifying documentation, conducting applicant assessments, and ensuring compliance with immigration laws and organizational policies.
• The role requires accuracy, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service to applicants throughout the visa process

Key Responsibilities

• Application Processing
• Receive, review, and verify visa applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Check applicant documentation such as passports, financial records, employment letters, and travel itineraries.
• Ensure all applications meet the eligibility requirements for the requested visa category.
• Ensure adherence to all immigration laws, rules, and internal procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and update databases with application details and decisions.
• Prepare reports on visa processing statistics and issues when needed.
• Provide clear guidance to applicants regarding visa requirements, procedures, timelines, and documentation.
• Respond to queries through email, phone, or in-person appointments.
• Handle applicant concerns professionally and promptly.

Required Qualifications

• BSc / HND qualification
• Prior experience in visa processing, immigration services, or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.

Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 monthly.
