Job Summary
- The Assistant Chef will support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food quality.
- The role requires commitment, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during long hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in food preparation and cooking.
- Prepare ingredients (cutting, chopping, marinating) as instructed.
- Ensure meals are prepared according to set standards and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Properly store food items and manage kitchen supplies.
- Assist with plating and timely food service.
- Follow health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum SSCE (OND or catering school certification is an advantage).
- 1–2 years of working experience as an assistant chef.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food hygiene practices.
- Ability to work long hours
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.

Working Conditions:
- Shift-based schedule
- Exposure to heat and kitchen equipment
- Working Hours: 8:00am – 3:00am
