- We are seeking a skilled and creative Cake Manager to oversee daily cake production across multiple centers.
- The role involves managing decorators and bakers, ensuring consistent product quality, developing new cake designs, and driving overall sales performance within the cake category.
- The successful candidate will maintain high production standards, manage costs, and uphold food safety compliance while leading a productive, motivated team.
Requirements:
- Bacheloes degree in Hospitality, Food Technology, ora related field (Diploma in Baking/Culinary Arts preferred).
- 3—5 years’ experience in bakery or patisserie production, with strong cake decoration skills,
- Proven supervisory/leadership experience in food production.
- Creative expertise in trending cake techniques (buttercream,fondant, specialty designs).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Ability to interpret sales trends and manage production costs.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO, NAFDAC).
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cake production, maintain quality standards, and develop new recipes/designs.
- Manage and train cake decorators and support staff while ensuring smooth scheduling and productivity.
- Monitor inventory, control costs, reduce waste, and coordinate with procurement on supplies.
- Drive sales through attractive merchandising, promotions, and uphold strict food safety and compliance standards.
