Job Description
- The Head of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving sales through strategic relationship-building with prospective clients, fostering new business growth within designated accounts, overseeing a team of sales professionals, and meeting sales objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure success.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, establish, and maintain relationships with key clients, and expand the company’s customer base.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Build and maintain strong positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create effective sales campaigns, promotions, and product enhancements
- Conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
- Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and sales budgets to the management team.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is considered advantageous.
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience, preferably within industries like saas, insurance telecommunications or logistics.
- B2B experience is essential.
- Demonstrated success in sales management as a B2B, corporate or enterprise sales manager
- In-depth product knowledge encompassing the company’s offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Proficiency in analysing sales data, preparing comprehensive reports, and delivering impactful presentations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
