Admin & Member Relations Officer

Our client, a unique private family club in Lagos, dedicated to providing a safe and engaging environment for members and guests to enjoy recreational activities and dining experiences, is seeking an excellent and well experienced Administrative cum Member Relations Officer to serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, delivering a warm, professional and organized front-of-house experience. This role combines administrative efficiency with genuine hospitality, ensuring every visit to reflect the Club’s standard of privacy, care, and excellence. This role requires excellent communication skills, interpersonal relations skills, and organizational skills to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist members and guests professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage check-ins, verify access, and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Handle calls, emails, and inquiries courteously, providing information on club activities and policies.
  • Ensure the reception and entry area remain tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times.
  • Deliver attentive, solution-driven service, addressing member needs and concerns promptly with discretion and empathy.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service and event execution.
  • Maintain membership and attendance databases; prepare reports as needed.
  • Support data entry, documentation, and general administrative tasks.
  • Assist management with operational and project-related duties.
  • Assist with bookings, reservations, and member communications to ensure seamless experiences.
  • Promote a safe and secure environment for members, guests, and staff.
  • Ensure all visitor protocols, access permissions, and confidentiality guidelines are followed at all times.

Requirements:

  • HND or B.sc degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, Communications or any related field of study.
  • Proven 1-2 years experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a private club, hotel, or similar service-focused setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Proven track record of handling client/member inquiries and managing administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with reservation or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of email communication tools and data entry software.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and good judgment when handling member needs or unexpected issues.
  • Accuracy in record-keeping, scheduling, and report preparation.
  • Confidential and trustworthy with sensitive information.
