Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization to ensure the highest level of financial integrity and compliance.
  • The Finance Officer will be tasked with overseeing daily financial activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting budgeting and reporting processes.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial activities and support internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support operational objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Heads.

Requirements
Educational and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Teamwork skills.
