HR & Operations Officer
Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role for an HR & Operations Officer, based in Ibadan. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing people, maintaining structure, and ensuring seamless daily operations across the academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are up to date.
- Support payroll coordination and staff attendance management.
- Draft, update, and manage job descriptions and HR policies.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and staff welfare programs.
- Coordinate operational tasks such as logistics, procurement, and facility management.
- Ensure all departments function efficiently with proper workflow.
- Collaborate with management to uphold Cirvee’s culture of excellence and accountability.
- Prepare weekly HR and operations reports for leadership review.
- Support planning and execution of academy events and trainings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Human Resources Management, HR Policies, and Employee Relations.
- Experience in job description development and HR documentation.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar HR or operations role, preferably within a school, tech startup, or EdTech company.
- Knowledge of Nigerian employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; experience with Zoho HR tools is a plus.
