Core Responsibilities

  • Staff supervision: Delegate tasks based on employee skills, oversee their performance, and provide feedback. This includes training new employees and coaching existing staff.
  • Scheduling: Create shift schedules, manage employee attendance, and coordinate staffing to meet operational needs.
  • Operational management: Ensure the workplace runs efficiently by monitoring daily operations, overseeing inventory, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Customer service: Address customer complaints, handle inquiries, and work to ensure a positive customer experience during the shift.
  • Policy and safety: Ensure the team adheres to company policies, safety guidelines, and legal standards.
  • Administrative tasks: Perform duties like balancing cash drawers, preparing deposits, and communicating with the next shift manager.

Essential skills and qualities

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 – 7 years experience. 
  • Leadership and communication: The ability to lead a team, communicate clearly, and motivate staff is crucial.
  • Problem-solving: Quick and effective problem-solving is required to handle conflicts between staff or customers, and resolve operational issues.
  • Organizational skills: Strong organizational skills are needed to manage multiple tasks, delegate effectively, and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Multitasking: The role requires juggling numerous responsibilities simultaneously to ensure all aspects of the shift are covered.

Salary
N90,000 – N100,000 monthly
