  • Monitor fleet data (location, driver behaviour, system uptime) using the SafeRide+ dashboard.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports on driver behaviour, route compliance, and safety incidents.
  • Liaise with hardware suppliers, SIM/data providers, and technical vendors to ensure devices and connections remain active.
  • Coordinate with drivers and partners to address hardware faults, system alerts, or connectivity issues.
  • Track SIM usage and manage data plans efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of all operational activities, assets, and incidents.
  • Support development of new operational procedures and KPIs.
  • Provide feedback to engineering and product teams to improve system reliability and reporting tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in fleet management, logistics operations, or telematics systems.
  • Familiarity with vehicle tracking or dashcam monitoring software.
  • Strong reporting and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and vendor-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solver.
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving start-up environments.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Prior experience working with fleet tracking systems
  • Understanding of driver behaviour analytics and safety reporting.
  • Technical literacy (basic understanding of APIs, SIM configuration, data monitoring tools).
  • Experience managing field technicians or hardware installations.

Why Join Us:

  • Be part of a first-of-its-kind mobility safety start-up solving a real problem across Africa.
  • Work directly with the founding team on a high-impact operational rollout.
  • Opportunity to grow into a Fleet Operations Lead or COO-track role as the company scales.
  • Competitive pay + performance bonuses + equity consideration (for top performers).
