  • This role executes welding tasks according to approved procedures and drawings, ensuring high-quality welds through inspections, adherence to SOPs, and compliance with safety standards. 

Job Details

  • Interpret fabrication drawings and perform welding as specified. 
  • Set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment safely. 
  • Inspect welds to confirm compliance with quality standards. 
  • Recommend design improvements for efficiency. 
  • Maintain safety protocols in all welding operations. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/HND in Metallurgical Engineering or related field. 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industry Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. 
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance, welding techniques, and safety risks. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interpret drawings.

Job Details

  • Inspect surface prep, coating consistency, color matching, equipment safety, and environmental compliance. 
  • Oversee mixing, application, and workforce activities in the coating process. 
  • Schedule operations to meet production targets, maintain machinery, troubleshoot issues, and optimize efficiency. 
  • Instruct employees on methods, safety protocols, and equipment use; foster team performance and adherence to standards. 
  • Manage documentation, material usage, inventory, waste disposal, budgets and report on workflow and compliance. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Materials, Chemical, or related Engineering field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years in coating supervision, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industry. 
  • Skilled in coating methods, surface preparation, equipment operation, and quality assurance techniques. 
  • Knowledgeable in safety procedures, environmental regulations, and compliance standards. 
  • Strong management, team training, and stakeholder communication skills. 
  • Proficient in interpreting technical specifications, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate records.
