About the job

• We are seeking a well-experienced Product/Project Manager with a strong background in the fintech, payment, or banking industry to join our team at Motopay. He/She must have a strong understanding of the financial technology industry and a proven track record of successfully managing product development projects.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, goals, and strategy in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
• Conduct local and international market research and analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with product development and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing improvements local and internationally.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and resource availability.
• Gather and document detailed requirements and specifications for new features and functionality.
• Monitor and analyze key product metrics, such as user engagement, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement.
• Act as the product evangelist, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and promotional materials.
• Stay up-to-date with local and international industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform product development decisions.
• Develop and drive the overall product strategy in alignment with business goals and market demands.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in product management, preferably in fintech or related industries.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and understand the basics of software development.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate product vision, requirements, and updates to various stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements. 
• Proven track record of successfully managing product development projects from concept to launch
• Strong understanding of financial technology products and services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus
