About the Role

  • We are seeking a passionate and skilled Makeup Artist to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional beauty services, provide expert product recommendations, and ensure every client enjoys a premium Montaigne experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional makeup application and beauty consultations to customers.
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and promote Montaigne’s luxury beauty brands.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area at all times.
  • Support sales through excellent customer engagement and personalized service.
  • Stay updated on current makeup trends, techniques, and product innovations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–3 years’ experience as a Makeup Artist, preferably in a retail or luxury beauty environment.
  • Certification in Makeup Artistry or Cosmetology is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for beauty, creativity, and customer satisfaction.

Other Details:

  • Work Days: Monday – Sunday (with alternate weekend shift).
  • Must be well-groomed, customer-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Job Objective

  • To design, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and increase sales performance across all online platforms.
  • The Digital Marketing Strategist will play a key role in strengthening Montaigne Limited’s positioning as the leading luxury beauty and lifestyle brand in Nigeria, through data-driven marketing and premium digital storytelling.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies aligned with Montaigne’s business goals, product launches, and luxury brand image.
  • Plan and manage digital campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and influencer partnerships).
  • Create annual and quarterly digital marketing calendars in collaboration with brand, retail, and e-commerce teams.

Content & Brand Management:

  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, visually appealing digital content that reflects the luxury tone of Montaigne brands.
  • Ensure all communication materials maintain brand consistency, tone, and aesthetic in line with luxury standards.
  • Collaborate with creative teams and external agencies to produce digital visuals, video ads, and promotional campaigns.

Social Media & Online Engagement:

  • Manage Montaigne’s social media presence across all key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Grow and engage a loyal online community through storytelling, campaigns, and influencer collaborations.
  • Monitor trends and competitor activities to continuously improve engagement and brand perception.

Performance Marketing & Analytics:

  • Plan and optimize paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, and influencer performance marketing).
  • Track KPIs including ROI, reach, impressions, engagement rate, CTR, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly digital performance reports with insights and recommendations.

E-Commerce & CRM Support:

  • Work closely with the E-commerce and Retail teams to drive online traffic, conversions, and repeat purchases.
  • Leverage CRM data to design personalized email campaigns and digital loyalty programs.
  • Ensure seamless digital customer experience across web and social touchpoints.

Partnerships & Innovation:

  • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, content creators, and luxury lifestyle partners.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends and emerging technologies to ensure Montaigne’s continued digital leadership in the luxury retail space.
  • Recommend innovative campaigns to elevate brand desirability and online visibility.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in website traffic and online sales conversion rate.
  • Increase in brand engagement and social media followers.
  • Return on investment (ROI) from digital ad spend.
  • Lead generation and customer acquisition from digital channels.
  • Consistency and quality of digital brand representation.

Minimum Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Digital Marketing (Google, Meta, CIM, or equivalent) is required.
  • MBA or advanced diploma in Digital Strategy or Brand Management (an added advantage).

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in luxury retail, beauty, or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated success managing digital campaigns and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong experience in digital advertising, SEO, SEM, social media management, and analytics.

Required Competencies:
Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of luxury brand positioning and high-end consumer behavior.
  • Knowledge of integrated digital campaign planning and data-driven marketing.
  • Strong grasp of digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc.).

Skills:

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, creativity, and visual communication.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling ability aligned with luxury tone.
  • Proficiency in digital ad management platforms and automation tools.
  • Leadership and project management skills.

Salary
N500,00 – N700,000 / month.
