About the job

  • The Internal Sales Engineer supports the sales process from within the office by providing technical quotations,  handling customer inquiries, coordinating order processing, and ensuring seamless communication between the  sales team, clients, and other departments.
  • The role combines customer service, technical knowledge, and  administrative support to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. 

Role Description

Technical Quotation & Proposal Support 

  • Prepare and issue accurate technical and commercial quotations based on client requirements. 
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work in collaboration with the Engineering team.
  • Customise solution offerings using Greenpeg’s product range and service capabilities. 

Customer Relationship Support 

  • Respond promptly to inbound client inquiries (calls, emails, RFQs). 
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with clients on quotes, product availability, and deliveries. 
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with external sales engineers, service teams, and  project teams. 

Sales Coordination & Order Processing 

  • Convert quotations to sales orders in ERP or CRM systems. 
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and invoicing. 
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer data. 

Reporting & Pipeline Management 

  • Update internal sales dashboards and trackers with quotation status, sales pipeline, and customer  interactions. 
  • Support monthly reporting, forecasting, and performance review meetings. 
  • Assist with tender documentation and bid submissions when required. 

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or HND in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business  Administration, or a related field. 
  • 2–3 years’ experience, preferably in industrial, engineering, or  technical B2B environments. 
  • Good product knowledge of automation solutions. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce). 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills. 
  • Customer-centric mindset and ability to work cross-functionally. 
  • Strong technical comprehension and commercial acumen. 
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and organised. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. 
  • Strong team player and problem-solver
