Pastry Chef
Responsibilities
- Prepare and Produce Pastries, Dessertsand baked goods, including cakes, tortes, cookies, and breads.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menus to keep our pastry offerings fresh and exciting.
- Maintain High Standards of Quality and Presentation
- Manage pastry kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring that all pastry items are prepared and stored safely.
- Collaborate with Other Kitchen Staff
Requirements
- Culinary Degree or Equivalent Experience: Culinary degree or equivalent experience in pastry arts.
- 3+ Years of Pastry Experience: 3+ years of experience in pastry arts, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong pastry skills, including cake decorating, sugar work, and bread baking.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Knowledge on other cooking skills is added advantage
