E-Commerce Sales Executive

Job Summary
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Sales Executive to join our growing team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing online sales platforms, driving revenue through digital channels, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of e-commerce tools and platforms, and a sales-driven mindset.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Business Head to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
- Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
- Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
- Participate in sales promotion and trade show expenses.
Other Responsibilities:
- Manage listings and product catalogs across e-commerce platforms such as Jumia, Konga, Amazon, Shopify, and others.
- Monitor and optimize product content, pricing, and promotions to increase visibility and sales.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute online campaigns and product launches.
- Track and analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Handle order processing, inventory coordination, and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on e-commerce performance and suggest improvements.
- Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 – 6 years of experience in e-commerce sales or digital retail sales.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Jumia, Konga. etc.).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and sales analytics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
