Games Operation Manager (Aha Games)

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute game operation strategies tailored for local markets, ensuring alignment with Ahagames’ global standards.
  • Audit and review game submissions to ensure compliance with industry standards, licenses, and platform requirements.
  • Oversee game localization processes, ensuring cultural relevance, translation accuracy, and engaging user experience.
  • Plan and manage local in-app events, festivals, and community campaigns to boost user engagement and retention.
  • Analyze market trends to identify and recommend popular games for platform integration.
  • Build and maintain community channels (social media, fan groups, forums) to drive active engagement and gather user feedback.
  • Test and evaluate new platform functions, providing detailed optimization reports.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to strengthen relationships with local game developers.
  • Monitor game performance metrics (downloads, retention, revenue) and propose data-driven strategies for improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Game Design, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in game operations, app management, or digital product operations.
  • Demonstrated success in game localization and event operation in a mobile or online gaming company.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across regions (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the gaming industry, user behavior, and market trends.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and KPIs.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of mandarin language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using game operation tools, analytics platforms, and community management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work across cultures.
  • Creativity and problem-solving ability to design engaging events and campaigns.
  • Passion for gaming and emerging industry trends.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-growing environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
