Job Summary:
Our Client, a Manufacturing Company is seeking a highly organized and experienced HR & Administrative Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic HR leadership while ensuring efficient administrative support that aligns with the organization’s goals and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
- Manage performance management systems and staff appraisal processes.
- Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
- Drive training, development, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR reports, and payroll support documentation.
Administration:
- Manage general office administration, facility management, and procurement processes.
- Supervise support staff (cleaners, drivers, security, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee company assets, logistics, and vendor relationships.
- Maintain effective filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Coordinate company meetings, events, and internal communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR practices, and payroll systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR software/tools (e.g., BambooHR, HRIS systems).
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
