About the Role
- We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales/Business Development Specialist with 3–5 years of proven success in IT and software development services.
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives on identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving growth.
- The ideal candidate must have experience selling SaaS products, a solid understanding of IT/software services and solutions, and the ability to convert prospects into long-term business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the IT and SaaS sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (C-level executives, IT leaders, procurement teams).
- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and competitive positioning.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to create customized solutions for clients.
- Negotiate contract terms and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Maintain accurate pipeline reports, forecasts, and client records using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 3 – 5 years of experience in sales or business development within IT/software development.
- Proven track record in selling SaaS products and IT consulting solutions.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, IT outsourcing, or managed services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative sales approach.
