Customer Service Officer

Responsibilities

  • Professionally handle requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly.
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfil customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts and document interactions through contact tracking.
  • Contact customer to ensure they have satisfaction in the solution /services provided
  • Maintain a record of all customer but existing and prospects. Also manage customers’ accounts.
  • Give support to customers during projects.
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions: suggesting information about Sidmach products and services.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Recommends potential products or services to customer via telephone by collating customer information and analysis of customers need.
  • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analysing customer information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions including details of inquiries, comments, complaints and follow up on customer interactions
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making, handles issues in the best interest of both customer and company.
  • Use automated information systems to analyse the customer’s situation.

Requirements

  • Standard practices of customer service/management.
  • Basic Microsoft office application.
  • Market knowledge.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 / month.
