Job Description
- Preparing and sorting documents such as invoices and receipts for data entry
- Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
- Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan
- Testing new database systems and software updates
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check the output
- Apply data program techniques and procedures
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
- Scan documents and print files, when needed
- Keep information confidential
- Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND Accounting or related field
- 5 years working experiences as Data Entry Officer preferably in Purchase
- Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs such as MS Office (formal computer training may be advantageous in progressing in this career as good MS Excel skills is a must)
- Ability to work to time constraints
- Familiarity with administrative duties.

Job Description
- Developing Safety Policies by drafting and implementing safety policies and procedures in alignment with local and international standards.
- Conducting Risk Assessments by identifying workplace hazards and assessing the risks associated with various tasks and processes and recommending control measures to mitigate risks.
- Ensuring Compliance by monitoring adherence to safety regulations like OSHA, NEBOSH, or ISO standards and conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure workplace safety.
- Training and Awareness by organizing safety training sessions for employees and management and promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within the organization.
- Accident Investigation by investigating workplace incidents to determine the root cause and preparing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Emergency Preparedness by developing and implementing emergency response plans and conducting drills to prepare employees for fire, chemical spills, or other emergencies.
- Environmental Management by ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and managing waste, pollution control, and other environmental aspects of the organization
Requirements
- BSc in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of five(5) years of cognate experience from manufacturing companies
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
- Knowledge of hazard identification, control measures, and emergency response planning.
- Familiarity with safety training programs and promoting a strong safety culture in the workplace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and compliance documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for maintaining HSE records and reports.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Certification in HSE-related training (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is an added advantage.
