About the Role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Audit Officer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will play a critical role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- You will help ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits in line with the annual audit plan
- Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit tools and practices
- Collaborate with departments to ensure timely resolution of audit findings
- Follow up on corrective actions from past audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in internal/external auditing
- Experience conducting Field Audits.
- Professional certification is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail

Job Summary
- We are looking for a result-driven and persuasive Loan Recovery Officer to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring delinquent accounts, developing effective recovery strategies, and ensuring timely repayment of loans.
- You will play a key part in maintaining a healthy loan portfolio and minimizing credit losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with clients on overdue payments via phone calls, emails, and field visits
- Negotiate repayment plans and ensure prompt recovery of outstanding loans
- Monitor repayment trends and identify early warning signs of default
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and agreements
- Escalate high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions
- Collaborate with the credit and legal team to initiate legal proceedings when necessary
- Provide periodic reports on recovery performance and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan recovery or collections (preferably in a microfinance or fintech environment)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure
- High level of integrity, persistence, and resilience
- Familiarity with loan management systems is an added advantage
- Willingness to conduct field recovery visits when necessary.
