Job Description:
- The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth.
- This role will work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product management, to ensure alignment and effectiveness in achieving company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve or exceed annual revenue targets.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Set individual and team sales goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to optimize results.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring profitable and long-term business relationships.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Pharmaceutical Sales preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare required
- 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a [relevant industry/sector].
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to derive insights and make strategic decisions.
- Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot) and sales productivity tools.
- Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings and events.
