Job Description:

  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth.
  • This role will work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product management, to ensure alignment and effectiveness in achieving company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve or exceed annual revenue targets.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Set individual and team sales goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to optimize results.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring profitable and long-term business relationships.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare required
  • 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a [relevant industry/sector].
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to derive insights and make strategic decisions.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot) and sales productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings and events.
