Position Summary:
- The Program Intern will support the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of field activities across different projects under the guidance of the Program Officer. This role offers valuable exposure to program design, implementation, reporting, and partnership engagement in the humanitarian and development sectors. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and passionate individual eager to contribute to impactful community programs
Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation Support:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking field activities.
- Support mobilization of project participants, community leaders, and stakeholders.
- Help facilitate training, awareness sessions, and community meetings.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Assist in data collection, entry, and analysis for reporting purposes.
- Support the development of field visit reports, success stories, and activity summaries.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and donor reporting processes.
Stakeholder and Community Engagement:
- Participate in coordination meetings with implementing partners, community-based organizations, and local authorities.
- Support coordination efforts across project sites, including logistics for program activities.
Gender and Social Inclusion:
- Ensure that project activities reflect gender-sensitive approaches and promote inclusion of marginalized groups (e.g., women, youth, persons with disabilities).
- Help identify barriers to participation and propose ways to enhance equitable access to project benefits.
Administrative and Knowledge Management:
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of project documents and tools.
- Support documentation of lessons learned, case studies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Recent serving NYSC graduate in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Agriculture, Public Health, Food Science and Technology, Agribusiness, or related fields.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of project cycle management and development principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a multicultural and dynamic team.
- Commitment to gender equality, social inclusion, and community engagement.
Desirable:
- Prior volunteering or internship experience with an NGO.
- Knowledge of participatory community development practices.
- Willing to abide by IAIDI-Nigeria code of conduct

Position Summary:
- The HR and Admin Intern will support the Human Resources and Administration unit in daily operations and general office functions. This internship provides a learning opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in HR and NGO operations while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Support:
- Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and shortlisting candidates.
- Help maintain up-to-date staff records (both digital and hardcopy).
- Support the onboarding and induction process for new staff and interns.
- Assist with performance management tracking and reminders.
- Participate in organizing staff trainings, workshops, and welfare activities.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain office filing systems and ensure proper document storage.
- Provide administrative support in procurement, asset management, and logistics.
- Support in the coordination of meetings, note-taking, and follow-up documentation.
- Ensure office supplies are monitored, ordered, and well-stocked.
- Help manage correspondence and ensure timely delivery of communications.
Recordkeeping and Data Entry:
- Enter and update data on HR systems or spreadsheets.
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards for staff files and documents.
Other Duties:
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the HR/Admin team to support operations.
Requirements:
- Education: A serving NYSC, holder of BSc in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
