Head of Sales

Role Purpose Statement:

  • The Head of Sales oversees and leads the activities of the Sales Department.
  • The aim is to ensure that these functions are carried out effectively and efficiently, in harmony and in accordance with applicable statutory regulations, company’s operational standards and policies.

Main Accountabilities

  • Coordinate the activities of the Branch Managers and sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborates with leadership to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth
  • Provides leadership to the sales team, set targets and monitor performance.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Suggests pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales
  • Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
  • Implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales
  • Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams on bulk order.
  • Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
  • Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and performance of Branch/Sales managers.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Performs other delegated duties.
