Job Description

  • TheSite/Stores Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support and managing stores operations on construction sites.
  • This role ensures accurate record-keeping, efficient inventory management, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Prepare and process reports, such as daily site reports, material delivery records, and inventory reports.
  • Receive, inspect, and store materials and equipment on site.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, receipts, and issues.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Liaise with site management, procurement team, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Communicate with site staff and workers regarding material availability, storage, and usage.
  • Assist with site administration, including filing, photocopying, and other office tasks.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / BSc Degree with at least 4 years work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of construction practices and materials
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
