Merchant Support Operation – Fintech
Job Purpose:
- The Unit focus on ensuring Institutions, merchants, & Billers are efficiently onboarded/setup on the company’s Payment channels with no errors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up the Institutions’ profile on Company’s Payment Platform ( Payment Gateway & switches ) to include setup of merchant, Fees,MCC, merchant’s account…
- Set up Biller’s profile on Company’s Billers Aggregation Platform to include setup of Institution, Biller slugs, Biller settlement account, Fees..
- Review merchants onboarding form and contract before they are set up.
- Update fees on merchants’ accounts in line with merchants’ contracts and as advised by the sales & Legal Team, upon management approval
- Ensure that the right MCC is assigned to each merchant and make updates where necessary.
- Liaise with the product and Engineering teams to escalate technical issues and ensure prompt and complete resolution.
- Support the UAT of all applications to be deployed.
- Provide technical support to merhants on Skype during integration of the Company’s payments channels/platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least three (3) years of related experience is required, preferably in a Fintech environment.
