Summary

  • We are seeking a passionate and competent Operations Officer to join our programs team and drive impactful initiatives that empower women and girls across communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs related to women’s rights, empowerment, and social justice.
  • Develop project proposals, concept notes, and reports for donors and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate trainings, workshops, and community engagement activities.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and community leaders.
  • Conduct field visits and collect data for impact assessment and reporting.
  • Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Represent the organization at events, meetings, and advocacy campaigns.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of program activities.
  • Support the communications team in developing content for social media and publications.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies, or a related field.
  • At least 2 – 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in an NGO or nonprofit setting.
  • Strong knowledge of women’s rights, gender equality, and community development issues.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and writing skills (experience in proposal writing is a plus).
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership building.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and graphic design tools such as CorelDRAW and Canva.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel to project locations as needed.

Preferred:

  • Experience in advocacy and policy engagement.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools.
  • Fluency in English and at least one local language.

Method of Application

Position Summary

  • The Video Editor will be responsible for editing a variety of video content, including interviews, documentaries, campaigns, community events, and our flagship program — The Moment for Women Talkshow.
  • The ideal candidate is highly proficient in post-production and passionate about using media to drive social change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into polished videos for YouTube, social media, and broadcast.
  • Add transitions, subtitles, background music, voiceovers, and graphics as needed.
  • Collaborate with cinematographers, producers, and content creators to deliver visual content aligned with program goals.
  • Create short-form videos and reels for advocacy campaigns.
  • Maintain an organized library of project files, raw footage, and edited content.
  • Assist in producing motion graphics and visual effects (as needed).
  • Ensure all videos reflect brand identity and messaging.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Candidates should possess SSCE / GCE / NECO / OND / HND / B.Sc with 3 years work experience.
  • Proven experience in video editing (demo reel or portfolio required).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
  • Knowledge of color correction, audio mixing, and basic motion graphics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and file management abilities.

Desirable (Added Advantage):

  • Experience working on advocacy or nonprofit video projects.
  • Basic skills in animation, After Effects, or Canva for video.
  • Familiarity with feminist and human rights-based narratives.
  • Skills in photography, filming, or live streaming.
