Procurement Officer
Responsibilities
- Working with the Head of Procurement and Procurement Officers to prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Following and enforcing the company\’s procurement policies and procedures.
- Reviewing, comparing and analysing products and services to be purchased.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
- Assist in Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
- Assist in Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
- Assist in Monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of intelligence to identify value creating opportunities within the supply chain.
- Support development of category strategies then implement and execute strategy.
- In conjunction with Procurement manager develop and execute procurement strategies.
- Assist in developing/ agreeing with internal customer, Service level Agreements, Risk Management programme and appropriate supply.
