Job Summary:

  • We are seeking experienced and professional Waiters to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a 3-star or higher-rated hotel. The role involves providing excellent table service, attending to guests promptly, and ensuring an exceptional and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide menu recommendations.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and in accordance with service standards.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns professionally.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently for incoming guests.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
  • Handle payments accurately and issue receipts.
  • Comply with all food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar staff for timely service.
  • Follow company policies and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ verifiable experience as a waiter in a 3-star or higher-rated hotel.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service operations.
  • High school certificate or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Professional and courteous guest interaction.
  • Ability to handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
  • Accuracy in order-taking, billing, and food presentation.
  • Familiarity with menu items, ingredients, and upselling techniques.
  • Strong teamwork and coordination with support departments.
  • Calm and efficient in handling guest concerns or complaints.
  • Physically fit to stand and move around for extended hours.
