- Are you a dynamic self-driven individual, looking to make an impact in the FMCG industry? This is your chance to grow with us, we are looking for a Salesman whose main roles will be to: driving revenue growth, expand market presence, and establish strong relationships with customers. This role requires a proactive approach to implementing sales strategies, maintaining customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and customer segments to drive growth.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement a plan to maximize sales and market share.
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Conduct end of day reconciliation on stocks, sales and revenue and share daily reports.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing, or its equivalent.
- KCSE mean grade of C + with a C (plain) in mathematics.
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in FMCG/Alcohol industry will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of honesty, integrity, agility, and attention to detail
- High level of accountability and ability to cope with pressure.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Market knowledge and strategic thinking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivation and result-oriented
- Must have a valid driving license with class B, C.
